• Mission Statement:

To assist the administration of Highland Park High School in creating and maintaining a positive image of the school. To accomplish this mission, the following goals have been identified:

• To maintain to the best of our ability a current list of alumni of the school. These lists could be used for class reunions
• To provide for communications to the alumni through the publication of a newsletter
• To establish a scholarship program for current graduates
• To provide comradeship and participation of alumni through an annual event
• To recognize outstanding accomplishments of alumni and staff

• Scholarship Fund
• Donations are to be submitted to Highland Park High Alumni Association and designated as "scholarship fund". Money will be deposited in checking and/or savings account as received. As donations are received during the year, the high school will send letters of receipt to the individuals making donations, which can be used by them for tax purposes if they so desire.
• This money will be placed in a certificate of deposit.
• Interest from the certificate of deposit, and interest only, will be given each year to an outstanding graduate of Highland Park High School. The Scholarship Committee of the school shall handle selection of the recipient.
• Guidelines for the Hall of Fame
• Purpose: to recognize outstanding graduates and/or individuals who have been associated with Highland Park High
• Selection of nominees:
• Anyone may nominate an individual for the Hall of Fame.
• Nominees should be graduates of HPHS or an educator who has done outstanding service for students of the school.
• Candidates should be nominated for contributions in their field of endeavor.
• Nominees must be submitted on/before January 1 each year. Presentation of inductees will occur at the annual meeting.
• Presentation: a framed 8 X 10 photograph will be hung at HPHS and a plaque will be presented to those selected.
